Gi Young Jeong
Post-Doctoral Research Associate
Currently, Dr. Jeong is working on sustainability of wood material by linking from forest management to anatomical structure to mechanical properties of strand to properties of wood based composites using stochatic finite element method and hierarchical linear modeling. He received B.S. in Wood Science and Engineering from Chonnam National University, 1997-2004 and M.S. in Wood Composites from Louisiana State University, 2004-2005, and Ph.D. in Wood Mechanics and Engineering from Virginia Tech, 2005-2008.
