My interests lie in the next generation of management,
Lean Leadership, Lean Transformation (change Management)
and global competitiveness. I look forward to completing
my Ph.D here at Virginia Tech to gain more insights of
leadership capabilities.

Academic Background:
Apprenticeship as a cabinet maker/wood technician
from Ladenbau Körling (manufacturer of store fixtures)
Diploma in Engineering from the University of Applied
Sciences Lippe und Hoexter
(School of wood and woodworking technology) with a major
in manufacturing and material flow
Part-time job/Trainee with Egger Holzwerkstoffe
(wood materials – MDF, OSB, particle boards)
Internships with Consulting Companies in the US
Prior to Virginia Tech, I was working as a Management
Consultant at proLean Consulting AG and the Lean
Management Institut; specialized in Lean transformations
and Lean business systems in Duesseldorf, Germany. These
projects took me to different locations around the globe,
enabling me to further my understanding and applications
of lean business concepts.
Through my studies, I hope to figure out what the next
generation of management should be, to do a (Lean)
transformation from a good to a great company. To
understand what the impacts and key points are to do so –
culture, people, and processes.
