Research Interest(s):
I am currently trying to deposit chemically modified nano
cellulose on to a well-designed micro-scale 3D substrate
by the directed layer-by-layer coating
technology. In doing this, we are hoping to produce a
type of artificial tracheids under the laboratory condition.
My research is supported by the Institute of Critical
Technology and Applied Science (ICTAS) at Virginia Tech.
