Research Interest(s):
I am currently investigating the self assembly properties
of different wood/bio-polymers through surface
characterization techniques like QCM-D, SPR and AFM.
Biological composites found in nature like wood, bone,
enamel etc., are formed through highly energy efficient
processes involving moderate temperatures, pressure and
water as solvent. My long term objective is to create
composites with low environmental impact through a
biomimetic approach.
