Henry works in the area of business management processes and modern manufacturing systems. He is also interested in studying supply chain management issues and the application of lean thinking principles in order to reduce waste and increase value for the wood products industry. His teaching duties includes Forest Products Business Management, and Forest Products Business Systems. Before Henry moved to VA Tech he was a faculty at the Costa Rica Institute of Technology (Costa Rica Tech) for ten years .
