Brian H. Bond, Ph.D., serves as extension specialist in Wood Products where his current extension and research program focuses on improving efficiency in lumber production and drying operations in Virginia. He teaches the WOOD 3534 Lumber manufacturing and drying and co-teaching Wood 5984: Fundamentals of Wood Material Science. Dr. Bond is currently conducting research on reducing warp during drying and developing drying schedules for tropical hardwoods.
