The William H. Sardo Jr. Pallet and Container Research Laboratory is the only research facility in the United
States that performs comprehensive research and development work, provides technical assistance, and offers educational programs focusing

Non-Timber Forest Products Website
Interest in non-timber forest products (NTFPs) is increasing rapidly. The Virginia Tech Department of Wood Science
and Forest Products, the USDA Forest Service Southern Research Station and the Top of the Ozarks RC&D in Missouri are collaborating
to develop and operate the first web site devoted to gathering information on products and markets and making it accessible to harvesters and
growers, marketers, processors, and end-users.
