Allegheny Dry Kiln Club

The ADKC is a hardwood industry trade organization that promotes quality wood drying practices.

The Club meets twice a year, October and April. The meetings consist of four hours of training seminars on a Thursday afternoon, a Thursday evening dinner and Friday morning plant tours.

Next Meeting

The Spring Meeting will be held at the Elkins Motor Lodge, Elkins, WV on May 14th at 2:00 pm. James Barnet will talk about the NHLA grading school at the WV Wood Technology Center in Elkins, WV; John Frayley will discuss wood fired boilers; and Brian Bond will cover methods for drying white woods. A tour of the Frank E. Wilson Lumber Company, located in Elkins, WV (www.wilsonlumber.com) will be held on the morning of May 15th.
